Athena is a classy sundgau that we feel shows much promise.  Although not as tall and long as her herdmates, she is a very correct mover, and this was stated by several judges.  She is tight in the shoulders tying in close at the elbow, and very smooth over the top.  Her udder looks and feels "welded" on, the fore is incredibly smooth, the rear high and tight and she has well deliniated teats.  We'd like to see her mammary show more rear udder behind the leg, and we feel she will gain this with more maturity.  Athena has been the "bridesmaid" the majority of the 2008 show season to her herdmates, winning several reserves.  We look forward to Athena's '09 show season as she matures into a stunning 4 yr old.
